Andrew, I&#039;ve just joined your group (&#039;cos NZ is sorta kinda part of Asia :) 

Nate, that&#039;s a really good point that there are boundaries to relationships, and that Twitter is just as nuanced as real life. You&#039;re onto it! 

I guess I rebel against the word rules because us humans tend to try to reduce everything to a set of instructions, whereas life is a lot more colourful than that.</description>

One point that struck me is that there actually are rules in relationships, well, maybe boundaries is a better word. Introverts appreciate some space, while some extroverts like to spar and parry witty repartee.

I think people forget that even on Twitter, there are rules, gestures, nuances and subtlety that are communicated the same way as in emails, only in real time.

It&#039;s not just &quot;what are you doing&quot; but &quot;what are you doing in relation to your contacts&quot; that&#039;s really going on.
